Q: What is EMDR?
A: EMDR psychotherapy is an information processing therapy that addresses the experiences that contribute to a wide range of difficult issues that make you feel "stuck in the past" and unable to move forward. It attends to the past experiences that programmed you to relive unpleasant memories or engage in behaviors that you wish you didn't have. It also addresses current situations that trigger dysfunctional emotions, beliefs and sensations. EMDR is useful in bringing forth the positive experience needed to enhance future adaptive behaviors and mental health. 

Q: What is CBT?
A: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy addresses dysfunctional emotions, maladaptive behaviors and mental processes and contents through a number of goal-oriented, explicit systematic procedures. This therapy is effective for the treatment of a variety of conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse and many others.
